The Devil’s Playground?

This commentary may or may not be something one can relate to unless they BELIEVE in a literal being-spirit such as the DEVIL is called. But, I digress. 

I am truly gratified that I’ve not already been arrested, thrown in jail, or been killed. For you see, I was told as a young Christian that, IDLENESS is the Devil’s PLAYGROUND. So, surely you know what meditation or contemplation opens one up to, right? I mean, to have a QUIET TIME where one isn’t trying to think (not an easy task), where SILENCE is the goal, is to open ones self to SATANIC SEEDS being deposited in ones very own mind. 

Can you believe I once believed THAT? 

There is a principle that’s close to the above; however, it’s a scientific principle so it can’t be true. Scientists tell us that vacuums are constantly being filled. Create one and watch how fast the power and temptation is to FILL it- with something. 

Thus, with the destruction of Jerusalem and the fall of Masada (70BCE), Hellenistic Christianity took over and filled the voids of James, Peter, and John. Paul had been the opponent ushering in a new kind of Christianity. Since the teachings of Paul were more closely aligned with Rome (remember, he was a Roman) and though Paul too had been taken from this dimension, Roman Christianity took over. 

Maybe you have heard of the Council of Nicea, Constantinople, and Chalcedon. 

Those three Councils over some three hundred years filled the vacuum left by Jesus and the Jewish crew at Jerusalem. My bet though is that we’re about to see another MAJOR TRANSFORMATION. The vacuum that’s been created by all the dogma and doctrine is about to be FILLED BY LOVE. Hey, why don’t we RUSH IN (now) where wise men have feared to go?
