What makes a person do stupid stuff? Is it simply a matter of stupid does as stupid is? Or, could what we call stupid or foolish be a spiritual act of one stepping out on faith and obeying the WORD of the Spirit. We are created in the image of them (trinity). To live a faith filled life fist comes the thought, then then word, and finally the action- Father-Son-Holy Spirit.
What would cause a man to walk on water, fish on the other side of the boat, or write checks for millions of dollars when he only has a couple thousand in the bank? Maybe because they heard the Spirit tell them to do so?
A friend of mine related to me this past week that he had been “touched” by the Spirit. He had been physically vibrated, resonating with something more mysterious than he could describe. Simultaneously with that physical presence, he felt he HEARD not by his mind that he was to write nine checks. He was to write a check to pay off his house mortgage, a check to buy a vehicle for his teenage son, and $1.2 million dollar check to his church, and six others.
He did it.
The checks have been written and he now waits for the resources to manifest in whatever physical form that works: inheritance, gift, lottery, whatever! Foolish? Time will tell. But here’s a key to faith. Whatever one HEARS there must be ACTION attached to it. To HEAR and do nothing means nothing, shows no faith. Faith must be EXPERIENCED!
God is the thought, Jesus is the Word, and the Spirit is the action that comes asa result of faith. Faith is the bridge from Word to Action. And sometimes the action makes one really look foolish. But hey, God uses the FOOLISH of the world to fonfound the wise (I Cor. 1:27). You can listen to the 37 minute audio message by this topic by Clicking Here: The Foolishness of Faith.

I will do that. I do believe in the “trinity” of faith.
