The Risks & Rewards Of Faith

We’re told the God is love! I accept that unequivally. I get it and therefore I don’t get justice and an eternal hell as some sort of “back up plan“. Love is in the bag. He’ll never leave me nor forsake me, I am the apple of His eye, and there’s nothing that can separate me from my Creator- ultimately. Okay, we don’t need to worry about that principle, but what about FAITH!

Faith is NOT in the bag so to speak!

Faith must be undertaken and embarked upon, and it’s not a slam dunk, for sure deal. That’s why it’s called FAITH! What is it that you DO NOT HAVE? I know, I know that would be a long list. But, more to the point, what is it that you don’t have that God WANTS you to have? What is there that YOU WANT that He also wants (Matt. 9:28). That is the question Jesus asked of Bartimeaus. Then Jesus followed up with this question.

Do you believe I can give it to you? Now, there’s the substance of FAITH!

Question # 1. What is it that you don’t have but should. Question # 2. Do you believe it’s possible to have it? Question # 3. Are you willing to step out and take the RISK to bring it into reality? The reward for such risks is the thing prayed for. Remember, the Scriptures say, “Be it unto you according to your FAITH”.

1-God the Father thinks His thoughts through you (mankind).
2-The Son speaks the word of faith (of those thoughts) through you (mankind)
3-The Spirit manifests the physical reality of that word spoken through you (mankind).

The only thing lacking is YOU stepping out in FAITH for that which you’ve heard God say!
