The SOUL is the physical manifestation of who we appear to be to both ourselves and the world. We are part “our story” and part the “real story” of US, ME, and WE! Having been endowed with the awesome responsibility of FREE WILL and the sometimes dreadful realities therein, we have become what we APPEAR to be.
Let’s play with this metaphor and scenario if you will.
On my right should sits my HIGHER SELF which is calling me towards the I AM presence. On my left shoulder sits my EGO, that is calling me into the lower vibrations of toxic energy that will cause me grief and misery. The ego won’t tell you (the soul) that; however, it’s the eventual outcome nonetheless.
Our HIGHER SELF is optional, non-demanding. Our EGO is very demanding!
Should our SOUL drift away from our higher self, and it happens to ALL, the length of the detour is critical. The longer we lose sight of who we are (can you say LOST?), the more we spend time creating a new, but false, identity. This new OS (operating system) is generally called our subconscious mind. After we have performed a certain amount of repeated actions, habits, our subconscious mind takes over and we eventually lose control.
Remember HAL? You need to
HAL (Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic Computer) in the movie, Space Odyessy, is more non-fiction than fiction. If we will not willingly give ourselves to the One who created us, we will end up serving a master that we’ve created who does not have our interests in mind. If you think it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God (and it’s really not bad fearful), wait until you experience the FEAR of falling into the hands of the monster HAL that you yourself created.
Hey, just don’t go there!
