What the world needs, what you and I need, is not more teaching, moralizing, or reformation of our financial systems (though a case could be made for the latter), but a transformation! We come into this world as innocent, loving, and pure spiritual beings. No, I don’t believe in original sin (God doesn’t create junk); however, it doesn’t take long to be enculturated to the evils of humanity.
Much of religion, all religions, is about being better, getting the rules down, obeying authorities, making commitments, and being attentive to the instructions of the denominational system to which you’re attached. News flash! External teachings do not transform, or SAVE as the Christian religion is want to say.
Transformation must come from WITHIN!
I’m not saying to abandon church, religion, or listening to any teaching(s). The external information and teachings are MANDATORY- as a beginning. Teaching is the initial fuel for the booster rockets as we blast into the spiritual realm; however, if we’re going to go anywhere substantive (in the Spirit), we must look and listen to the WITHIN!
With the fuel of education, we now start discerning which roads need to be travelled, what voices to listen to, and how to turn within where all transformation begins to take place. It is to the Spirit within, that dwells as the core of our being, the I AM that we all are that we must visit. My Creator and Sustainer inhabits me, IS ME, and holds the secrets to the reality of BEING!
I know that some believe in reincarnation while at the opposite end of the spectrum some believe there is no after life at all. It doesn’t matter where your “belief system” falls in regards to life beyond this realm because being transformed is all about living in the NOW! Tomorrow, an after life, what happens when this shell called my body stops functioning is not the issue.
Unfortunately, the church has made it the MAIN issue!
Do you know where you’re going to go when you die! 
The truly important question is do you KNOW the One who created you and are you in communion with that Being NOW? Are you living life fully or partially? Are you functioning as a spiritual being or just a material object that’s getting older each day and finding life harder and harder to be content in this physical shell?
Education is a starting place, transformationis the ending place- the end game.
