True Belief

Napoleon Hill said it (Whatever the mind of man can concieve and BELIEVE, it can achieve) and Norman Vincent Peale remind us (You are what you believe). And every religion has at it’s core a “BELIEF system” to some degree or another; however, why don’t we see more miraculous events in our lives?

The answer is probably because we’re simply beleiving in belief itself.

The “name it and claim it” crowd can confess a mantra day in and day out and still not accomplish a thing other than wasted affirmations. Jesus took “true belief” to it’s ultimate end. He touched what scientists call the “quantum stuff” of life, or what Christianity labels as the “Spirit of God” in the deepest way. And in the way that Jesus beleived, the limits of biology, physics, time, and space asa we now see them vanished!

For many years I subscribed to the Napoleon Hill “Think and Growth Rich” and I became rich. I made millions; however, life is far more real than and impacting than making a few million dollars, running a sub four minute mile, or bending a fork with our mind. Even moving mountains and dividing the waters of a river or ocean, while jaw-dropping, aren’t really the stuff we’re made to see and BE!

True belief is turning your life over to the one who created it and becoming a co-creator with that Being. It’s sharing your life experiences with those around you and most importantly the Force (insert the word Abba Father if that helps) that designed us and keeps us together. In essence true belief is an “experience” that happens both in our mind, body, and spirit.

We need that trinity!

True belief is our acceptance of the instruction manual (knowing there is one) and spending our life conversing with the Instructor-Designer (God, Spirit, Father) becasue left to our own mind and imaginations (can you say EGO?), we’ll surely not run the course very well, let alone accomplish hardly anything that we’ve been sent here on this planet-plane to accomplish-BE.
