We Are “The Christ”

It’s sad and shocking the number of people who put together the two names Jesus & Christ as though they were the first and last name or the same and indistinguishable. Jesus was an historical person while Christ is a title, and a nature. For me, the best definition of Christos (better yet than Zodhiates Greek definition) is “the visible expression of the invisible Creator”. I am Ernie, the Christos. You are John Doe, the Christos and Mary Doe, the Christos.

Granted, my Christos isn’t even in the ballpark that Jesus, the Christos was; however, everything that God has made (and God has made ALL) is Christos in some form or fashion. I simply cannot ignore the fact that everything God created is recorded as GOOD and we humanoids are VERY GOOD. How could you or I not be the Christos since we were created in the “image of God-Consciousness-Creators”?

I love the song, “We Are The World”, but I like “We Are The Christos” better. :-)

I prefer to call Jesus the “First Begotten Son” seeing Him as the greatest and most full expression (Heb. 1) of God. When we say Jesus is the ONLY begotten Son of God that too often translates into I’m separated- and we’re not. Co. 2 says that we are IN CHRISTOS, In Jesus, in the ONE who was the greatest visible expression of the Creator. You are I are a “part” of that many membered Son. How cool is that?

It’s GOOD NEWS. And it’s such GOOD NEWS that many say it’s too good to be true.

Not I! I AM!

Here’s a mind-bender. When was I NEVER in Christos? Time is a man-made tool for living in this third dimensional world. Time does not exist in eternity so therefore I was in Christos before the foundation of the world and here’s more GOOD NEWS: I will be in Christos forever going forward. Surely you get what that means without me having to say it. :-)

We ARE……….the Christos! Can I get a religious amen?
