Every religion in the world that I know of, has expressions of truth and practice that benefit us all.
Time here on earth doesn’t permit us to dig deeply into ALL of them. We do well if we can master the GEOGRAPHICAL religion within which we are and have been immersed. Therefore, my CORE will always be Christianity, but not limited to such. It’s like I say about Jesus. God is not CONFINED to Jesus, but for me God is most DEFINED by Jesus.
Thus I am a Christian.
Many in the last five years of course not only question that I am a Christian, but highly doubt my salvation. But then, when it comes to “their definition of salvation”, I would probably agree with them.
One of the interesting religions of the world is TAOISM. Of course when we move into the Easter, Oriental world we soon learn of concepts such as Qi (life energy), and Chi (bio-energy). This brings us to the Taoist expression of WU WEI, which from a Chinese view means….DOING by NOT DOING!
What?
Instead of a primary devotion to thoughts, intellectualism, and ego oriented life style, Wu Wei moves us into more of an intuitive and natural state (which to those of the Occidental ilk find not natural of course). I simple terms, WU WEI means ME (as in I) getting out of the way of the Spirit so that, as the Bible says, “thy will can be done“, allowing for transformation and miracles.
Are you ready to get OUT OF THE WAY……and into “The Way“?
