Well, at least I hope you are! When we her that phase we take it as a negative, but let me give it to you in the spiritually positive spin. Jesus was the man who walked the earth some 2,000 years ago. He became the Christ- the Christos to which we’re to all become. He and the Father were one and that’s our raison d’etre as well.
You and I, and ALL are to be “containers” for the Spirit of God to inhabit and more importantly to flow through, shine forth, and manifest the powerful reality of life beyond form, life that is all IN all. One can read the Scriptures too quaickly and without allowing time for the Spirit to interpret.Such is probably the case with Ephesians 4:10.
That Jesus “ascended above all heavens” I’m not sure what to make of that; however, the rest of the verse says that He did so that He might FILL ALL. The womanizer at your office is FULL OF IT! The CEO who prides himself on his power and position is also FULL OF IT! The hot secretary with the high heels, short skirt, and plunging neck line is also FULL OF IT!
God, Jesus, the Spirit is IN ALL, but what exactly is the containers that we are showing forth? Are we allowing the purity, power, and potential of a spiritual life to possess us? The thought that I contain such an awesome treasure in this earthen vessel is an amazing mind trip that some simply cannot take.
