LRC was founded on September 6, 1987 by Ernie Fitzpatrick, who established the Church and later came under the apostolic authority of Rick Godwin in San Antonio.
After nearly twenty years of living the “church life”, LRC transitioned into a spiritual community and departed from the normal church format: Praise & Worship, Sunday morning meeting times, and other traditional church practices. Since 2007, LRC has evolved into a spiritual community where Christianity is at the CORE of our values, but we’re in no means limited to any one religious discussion. The Creator of the universe loves diversity and so should we.
Our vision is:
1-To develop spiritually mature individuals and families
2-To challenege our religious thinking and paradigms
3-To be loving and tolerant of all religious pursuasions
4-To change the culture of our community by changing ourselves first
5-To help develop the high school art community through Culture Shapers.
Most of our participants (we don’t have a “membership”) have journeyed together for 15-25 years.We believe in long term relationships and forgiveness at all levels of life which makes that possible.
